Three-dimensional imaging examinations in dentistry
Three-dimensional imaging studies in dentistry are necessary in difficult surgical cases in implantology, endodontics, orthodontics or orthognathics. The use of three-dimensional imaging tests provides patients with excellent diagnostics, the doctor enables himself and the patient to prepare himself and the patient to carry out even complex procedures in the safest way possible. Thanks to this, the number of complications and injuries caused by insufficient preparation of the doctor is reduced. Often, it is also possible to shorten the time of endodontic treatment and accurately diagnose a tooth that has been damaged, e.g. there has been a crack or fracture, which is not visible on an ordinary intraoral or pantomographic image, but will be visible in a three-dimensional image.
